Why this Recipe Works
Strawberry tiramisu with whipped cream and mascarpone is, of course, very similar to my mango tiramisu or lemon tiramisu. This dessert is light, fresh, and therefore perfect for the warmer days of the year.

Strawberry Tiramisu Ingredients
Actually, you don’t need much at all to make a delicious Italian strawberry tiramisu at home. Ladyfingers, whipped cream, sugar, mascarpone, and fresh strawberries. Plus good coffee, a strong espresso or a strong cup of coffee and a splash of that delicious Monin amaretto syrup.
Of course, you can also sprinkle some cocoa powder on top, mix in some white chocolate, or add some extra summer fruit like raspberries, but honestly? It’s not necessary. Despite the short list of ingredients, it’s just like with any good Italian recipe: few ingredients, but of good quality, and you’ll have a delicious dish on the table in no time!

Alcohol-free Strawberry Tiramisu
My recipe for this strawberry tiramisu is alcohol-free, but it does come with a delicious, refreshing summer (dessert) drink to go with it. By the way, I also have a great tip for you if you don’t want to or aren’t allowed to drink alcohol. I use a delicious syrup from the Monin brand in the Amaretto flavor and it’s a wonderful flavor enhancer in your coffee, but also a great substitute for amaretto liqueur. It has almost exactly the same taste and is delicious in this tiramisu.
Making Tiramisu with Strawberries
Strawberry tiramisu is truly everyone’s favorite. From big to small and from young to old: this is a treat everyone can enjoy! Unlike traditional tiramisu, it contains no alcohol and no raw eggs, so everyone can enjoy it. Plus, it’s the perfect dessert if you’re having a dinner party or a BBQ with a larger group this summer because you can – or rather, should – prepare it a day in advance so it can set in the fridge. Just garnish it with some extra strawberries before serving, and you’ll have a delicious strawberry tiramisu on the table in no time! Got leftover strawberries? Safe them for my amazing strawberry pie recipe!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make the tiramisu ahead of time?
It’s best to make it at least 4 hours, but ideally 24 hours, in advance so the ladyfingers soften and the flavors develop even better.
How long to I keep it and can I freeze the tiramisu?
You can keep it covered and refrigerator for about 2-3 days, freezing is not ideal as the mascarpone and fresh berries lose their texture upon thawing.
Can I substitute the coffee?
Sure! You can opt for a decaf coffee or even use fruit juice, strong tea or chocolate milk.
