Homemade Lemon Ice Cream

In principle, you can always make your own ice cream. You don’t specifically need an ice cream maker, but it does make things just a little easier. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can do it by hand. If you regularly (want to) make ice cream, I do, however, recommend a self-freezing ice cream maker. Convenience, an even better texture and you can never forget to put the bowl in the freezer in time 😉 .

Make the ice cream mixture and put it in a rectangular, shallow container. Stir it every 30 to 45 minutes until you have a nice, creamy ice cream. That will keep you busy for a while, because you do need to keep this up for a few hours if you want to have a delicious ice cream. But, the effort will definitely be rewarded.
