Creamy pasta
What makes this veggie pasta so delicious is that it is super creamy. There are several ways to achieve this creaminess, such as (sometimes complicated) sauces or ingredients. But it can also be very simple.
For this spinach pasta, I used herb cream cheese with a little cooking liquid to thicken it – so simple, but so delicious. Add some tasty vegetables and the basics of onion and garlic and you can hardly go wrong. A simple and delicious pasta with cream cheese it is!


Ingredients
- 150 gram pasta
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (chopped)
- 2 tbsp sundried tomatoes in oil (chopped)
- 250 gram spinach
- 30 gram cream cheese (with herbs)
- 150 gram green peas (frozen and thawed)
- olive oil, salt and pepper
Equipment
- Large pot
- Collander
- Large frying pan
INSTRUCTIONS (how to make this recipe):
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Before draining the pasta, save half a cup of the cooking liquid (about 150 ml).
- Meanwhile, heat some olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion, garlic and sun-dried tomatoes.
- Add the spinach little by little until it is wilted.
- Add the herb cream cheese and the reserved cooking liquid.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce, stir well and then add the peas. Add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy your meal!
