Healthy taco bowls recipe
Not only is this taco bowl recipe delicious, you can also serve it within 20 minutes. Both a quick weeknight meal and a quick party meal! Practically perfect, am I right?
I make this taco bowl with my own taco seasoning mix and a cajun mix. You can go for the extra convenience and use a bag of seasoning mix. Other than that, it’s just a matter of chopping, frying the ground beef with the seasonings, and assembling the bowl. Easy as that!
The most delicious taco bowls
I have always loved tacos. It’s one of my favorites from the Tex-Mex cuisine. When I first moved out, I was living on my own and didn’t think tacos were something to make for yourself (stupid, of course, but it’s not the ideal one-person meal, let’s face it).
So I would often have friends or family over for dinner and make a ton of taco’s. When we were dating, I taught my boyfriend how to make them too. Later, I learned about the taco rice bowl, which you can make for the whole family (a party at the table), or you can make it all by yourself.
Tasty taco night
No matter how many people you eat with, it is highly recommended, so tasty! By the way, did you know that you can change the number of people in the recipe card? The quantities will adjust to exactly how many people the recipe is for. Very convenient!
Easy taco bowl with ground meat
This taco bowl is a must if you love Tex-Mex cuisine as much as I do. It consists of white rice, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, avocado, ground meat, tortilla chips and corn. You can keep it “simple” or spice it up with lime, sour cream, fresh cilantro and grated cheddar cheese. The choice is entirely up to you. Other tasty and easy rice based recipes are my jambalaya and this chicken and rice dish.
