Taco bowl with ground beef, spices and lots of fresh veggies. All the goodness of tacos in a bowl. Easy, delicious and perfect for busy weeknights!

Ingredients

4 people
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 50 grams taco seasoning
  • 2 green peppers (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 150 grams corn
  • 200 grams rice (cooked)
  • 250 grams cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 2 avocados (ripe, diced)
  • 50 grams nacho chips
  • oil, pepper and salt
Serve with:
  • lime, sour cream, grated cheddar cheese and fresh cilantro

Equipment

  • 2 Large frying pans

INSTRUCTIONS (how to make this recipe):

  • In a large frying pan, sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil.
  • When the onion is translucent, add the ground beef and season with the taco seasoning mix and a little more salt and pepper if desired.
  • In another pan, heat a little oil and sauté the bell pepper. Season with cajun seasoning and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove the peppers from the pan, heat the butter and sauté the corn. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Divide the rice, ground beef, peppers, corn, cherry tomatoes, avocado and nacho chips among the bowls.
  • Top with lime, sour cream, grated cheese and fresh cilantro if desired. Enjoy your meal!
