Crispy chicken in a sweet garlic and honey sauce, served with rice and vegetables. It’s a simple yet delicious meal. You can whip up this easy recipe in half an hour, but I’m afraid it will disappear even faster! My husband said I had to make it again soon so I would say that’s a win-win 😉.
Golden brown crispy chicken
You might call it an ordinary weekday meal, but it’s one to look forward to. With very little effort, you can make this ‘fried chicken’ in a delicious sweet sauce. You fry it in a pan, but it’s actually just baking in a little oil. The texture and taste are similar to fried chicken though with it’s crispy skin, so you get real crispy chicken with minimal effort that’s ready to eat within half an hour!

How to make this crispy chicken recipe
The preparation method is very easy and uses simple ingredients. To make the breaded chicken, mix the chicken pieces in a simple marinade. Leave it to stand while you make the sauce. Make the sauce with garlic, ginger, honey and soy sauce, along with any other ingredients you like. Fry briefly, then let it reduce — that’s it!
Finally, mix the chicken with flour, fry briefly and combine with the sauce to create that truly delicious sticky chicken with a crispy coating and delicious sauce!

Crispy chicken with rice and vegetables
I chose to serve this crispy chicken with rice and a fresh, delicious cucumber salad. You could make pickled cucumber, to change things up. Other vegetables are also an option, such as broccoli or green beans. Add some simple white rice like basmati or jasmin rice, and you have a complete meal ready to be enjoyed!
