Ingredients for bobotie

South African bobotie

Traditionally, bobotie is a South African casserole usually served with rice. This dish is special because of the combination of mango chutney (or jam) and sweet raisins with spicy curry and turmeric. Green beans are also a must, they’re definitely part of the dish! I love green beans anyway, and they’re also delicious in green bean casserole.
