Easy is certainly one of the requirements when it comes to quiches. And thankfully they are! This bacon and pea quiche contains relatively few and easily available ingredients and takes just 15 minutes to prepare. For example, I used ready-made pie dough or puff pastry for the base. It’s easy, dummy-proof and you certainly don’t have to compromise on flavour!

Quiche with bacon and pea

Easy quiches

Quiches are, of course, characteristic of French cuisine, just like my quiche Lorraine. A delicious savory ‘pie’ that you can fill with anything your heart desires. You can add fish, meat or just vegetables to your egg mixture. This bacon and pea quiche recipe contains sweet green peas, mature cheese, herb cream cheese and pancetta. Pancetta is a spicy type of Italian bacon, very nice and decadent.

This pea and bacon quiche is perfect for those days when you have less time to cook, or you can take your leftover quiche to work or school for lunch! It is also delicious cold . Let’s get cooking!
