S’mores from the BBQ, this is such a delicious and really easy dessert. It can be prepared on the BBQ or in the oven and is ready in no time. Enjoy!
S’mores dip
The classic way to make this delicious treat is to ‘sandwich’ a toasted marshmallow and some pieces of chocolate bar between two biscuits (also known as graham crackers in the US, but any simple whole-grain biscuit will do).
However, I’ve turned it into a s’mores dip! I crumble half of the crackers coarsely on the bottom, then add a layer of chocolate, and a golden brown marshmallow layer on top. I find this even easier to make and it’s also really fun to serve as a dip with the rest of the graham crackers!

Barbecued smores
This is a popular American snack enjoyed around the campfire or on the barbecue. This recipe was therefore an essential addition to my collection of barbecue recipes. Place a heatproof pan or oven dish on the barbecue and cook everything in it; the barbecue will do the rest.
This way, you get ‘real’ roasted marshmallows, which are most similar to those roasted over a campfire, but you can also prepare them in the oven!

Best s’more recipes
If it’s not barbecue weather, or if you’d rather make s’mores in the oven for any reason, this recipe is perfect for you! The preparation is exactly the same as for barbecuing them, and they’re just as delicious! This is also a really tasty treat for a movie night on colder days.
If you want to go all out, you can even make your own marshmallows! Another great recipe that gives you best of both world, are these marshmallow chocolate chip cookies. All the smores flavour combined in one amazing cookie recipe!
S’mores BBQ dessert
Did you know that ‘s’mores’ is short for ‘some more’, because they’re so delicious that you always want more? Well, there’s no denying that 😉. They’re popular with both adults and children, and are the perfect treat. They’re definitely one of my favourite summer desserts, although lava cake remains a favourite no matter what time of year it is.
