Brush the burger buns with a little butter and grill the inside briefly to make them slightly crispy.
Spread a little Big Mac or burger sauce on the bottom of the buns.
Then divide the minced meat into 8 equal balls of about 75-80 grams each.
Heat a flat-top grill or frying pan without oil.
Take a ball of minced meat and place it in the hot pan. Put a piece of parchment paper on top and 'squash' it flat with the pan or a hamburger press. Feel free to press a bit hard.
Sprinkle the unbaked side with onion powder, pepper and salt to taste. Fry until one side is cooked, then turn and season the cooked side in the same way. Fry the burger until cooked through, then top with a slice of cheddar and allow the cheese to melt.
Repeat until all the meat is used up - you can usually fry several at once, depending on the size of your grill or pan.
Place the fried burgers on the bottom of the burger buns, putting 2 fried burgers on each bun. Top with caramelized onions, lettuce and a little extra sauce to taste. Enjoy!
