Sauerkraut casserole like you've never tasted it before! This comforting dish is so incredibly delicious, easy to make and truly an all around favorite.
Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius / 350 Fahrenheit top and bottom heat.
Bake the shawarma until cooked and put the shawarma into the casserole dish. Make sure the shoarma is nicely seasoned, add some extra shawarma seasoning if necessary.
Heat the sauerkraut with 2 tablespoons of water in a saucepan for about 5 minutes.
Make the cream mixture by mixing the eggs with the crème fraîche, milk, parsley, onion and garlic powder. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Spread the sauerkraut on top of the shawarma. Layer the potato slices on top and pour the cream mixture over the top. Finally, sprinkle the grated cheese over the top.
Put the dish in the oven for about 30-40 minutes until everything is hot and the cheese is golden brown. Enjoy your meal!
