Boursin Cheese Appetizer

Ingredients

4 people
  • 150 gram Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated )
  • Salt, black pepper and thyme to taste
For serving:
  • Honey
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Sliced baguette or crackers

INSTRUCTIONS (how to make this recipe):

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Set out three shallow bowls large enough to hold the Boursin. Place the flour in the first bowl. Beat the egg in the second bowl. In the third bowl, combine the panko, Parmesan, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Remove the Boursin from its packaging. Coat it first in the flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the panko mixture. Make sure the entire cheese is evenly coated.
  • Place the coated Boursin in a small oven-safe baking dish. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the outside is crispy and lightly golden brown.
  • Just before serving, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with red pepper flakes to taste.
  • Serve immediately with sliced baguette or crackers. Enjoy!
