Beef Stroganoff
This delicious beef stroganoff consists of tender meat in a creamy mushroom sauce. This easy recipe will be your new favorite!
Heat some olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Brown the chuck roast on all sides. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
Add more oil if necessary, then fry the onion and garlic until soft. Add the mushrooms and fry until browned.
Sprinkle the flour over the mushroom mixture and stir well.
Slowly pour in the beef stock, stirring constantly to prevent lumps forming.
Then add the tomato purée, mustard, sour cream and double cream. Stir until the sauce thickens.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the browned beef to the sauce and simmer for a further 1.5–2 hours on a low heat.
Meanwhile, cook the rice.
Serve the beef stroganoff with rice, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy your meal!
