Ingredients

4 people
  • 300 gram pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 leek (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 500 gram ground beef
  • 400 gram diced tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp pesto
  • 3 tbsp mascarpone
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp ground cloves (powder)
  • extra virgin olive oil, pepper, salt, fresh parsley, Parmesan cheese

Equipment

  • Frying pan

INSTRUCTIONS (how to make this recipe):

  • Cook the pasta al dente in large pot of salted water, according to the instructions on the packet.
  • Heat a little olive oil in a large frying pan and sauté the onion and garlic briefly.
  • Add the leek and tomato paste and fry briefly.
  • Add the ground beef and fry until brown and fluffy, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • When the beef is cooked, add the diced tomatoes, pesto, mascarpone, oregano, paprika and ground cloves. Fry briefly and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Drain the pasta and mix with the sauce. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley to taste. Enjoy your meal!
