Kletskoppen - or Dutch almond lace cookies, do you know this typical Dutch biscuit? Crispy, sweet, and addictively delicious! It's one of my favorites.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius / 392 Fahrenheit with top and bottom heat.
Mix all the ingredients together, adding a little water if the dough is too dry.
Roll the dough into small balls, slightly larger than a grape.*
Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring there is enough space between them. **
Put the tray in the oven, reduce the temperature to 180 degrees Celsius / 356 Fahrenheit and bake for approx. 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
Leave to cool and enjoy!
Good to know:
*The dough is not really suitable for rolling into perfect balls, but small mounds or rough balls are fine.
**The cookies spread out a lot during baking, which is normal, so make sure there is enough space between them.
