Honey garlic chicken wings

Sweet, crispy, honey garlic chicken wings. Easy to make, incredibly tasty and ready in a jiffy. These wings won't last long, they are that delicious!

Ingredients

4 people
For the chicken wings:
  • 1000 gram chicken wings
  • 50 gram cornstarch
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
For the sauce:
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 4 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • salt and pepper

  • Baking sheet
  • Saucepan

INSTRUCTIONS (how to make this recipe):

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius / 390 Fahrenheit top and bottom heat.
  • Wash and halve the chicken wings if desired.
  • Mix the cornstarch with the spices and salt and pepper to taste and brush the wings with the mixture so that they are evenly coated.
  • Place the wings on a baking sheet and bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, make the sauce. Put all the sauce ingredients in a saucepan and mix well. Heat the sauce until liquid. This will not take long, so start just before the chicken is ready.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and immediately stir the wings into the sauce. Enjoy!
