Creamy chicken pasta

Creamy chicken pasta with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. This is a delicious one-pot creamy pasta dish that is quick, easy and incredibly tasty!

Ingredients

4 people
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 300 gram chicken breast
  • tsp Italian seasoning (dried)
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 100 ml water
  • 250 gram pasta
  • 300 gram spinach (fresh)
  • 150 ml cooking cream
  • 50 gram Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 75 gram sun-dried tomatoes
  • extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS (how to make this recipe):

  • Heat a little olive oil in a large frying pan.
  • Sauté the onion and garlic in the pan.
  • Meanwhile, cut the chicken breast into pieces and add to the pan.
  • Season with the Italian seasoning, paprika, chilli flakes, salt and pepper to taste and cook the chicken until cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. Add the water to the frying pan with a pinch of salt and bring to the boil.
  • Add the pasta and cook for about 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain the pasta and return to the frying pan.
  • Add the chicken, spinach, cooking cream, parmesan and sundried tomatoes. Heat through until the spinach is wilted. Serve with some Parmesan and enjoy!
