Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius / 392 Fahrenheit with the top and bottom heat.
Place the bacon on a baking sheet with a good non-stick coating and bake for approximately 15–20 minutes until crispy. Leave to drain on baking paper, then crumble or cut into pieces.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the packet. Rinse immediately with cold water to stop the cooking process.
Mix the Caesar salad dressing into the pasta.
Divide the lettuce between deep plates and top with pasta, cucumber, chicken, egg and Parmesan cheese and croutons, if desired. Enjoy!
